Reporting to the General Manager, This position is responsible for leading the product line and sales of Timberlands OK Champion equipment in the designated market segment. In addition, this position is responsible for remotely supporting our USA facility TSE Internationals sales staff, generating sales volume, generating potential customer inquiries, responding to customer inquiries, preparing and following up on sales proposals and helping Timberland meet its growth and profitability goals. The position involves all aspects of the sales process including potential customer identification, lead generation, qualifying of leads, proposal preparation, proposal follow-up, handling customer questions with respect to proposals, closing of the sale and a significant amount of project management and problem resolution between closing the sale and even after shipment. Salary: $78,750 - 82,000

Assist Timberland in gaining knowledge of manufacturing methods, engineering information, customer information and other OK Champion information required to be competitive in the designated market segments

Business Development
Conduct competitive analysis to understand and build knowledge of competitors products, pricing, and strategies
Keep up to date on the industry and initiate new product development programs and product line improvements in an effort to retain our leadership in the industry
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality control in an effort to produce quality products which are delivered on time
Oversee customer proposals ensuring they are comprehensive, professional, correct, and submitted within the required time period
Review the selection of equipment/concept to be quoted
Review estimates to ensure that they are comprehensive and accurate
Negotiate win/win contract terms and conditions with customers
Develop and execute effective strategies to develop and close sales

Project Management
Manage projects and solve problems within a timely manner helping to ensure on time delivery
Ensure customers are kept adequately informed of their projects from the date of closing through to date of shipment
Keep in touch with customer after the date of shipment and provide assistance during installation, commissioning and first use of the equipment

Prepare annual and monthly forecasts of bookings and shipments
Prepare a single monthly booking forecast for the entire product group
In cooperation with the General Manager, prepare and review marketing and sales plans, and ensure that the plans are being executed to achieve forecasts
Review the product line price list to ensure that the price list is accurate and up to date

A proven track record in complex sales of OK Champion equipment a must
Experience developing and managing strategically important relationships that further business development activities of OK Champion equipment
Aggressively target potential new accounts and assess the keys to success and implement strategy for each opportunity
Strong mechanical aptitude/technical knowledge of machinery
Demonstrated success in working with teams
