Hawboldt - Inshore Science Vessels
Chester, Nova Scotia - Hawboldt Industries is pleased to announce that have been chosen as the supplier of various deck equipment for the 22m and 25m Inshore Science Vessels built for the Canadian Coast Guard by Méridien Maritime Reparation in Matane, Quebec.
Hawboldt supplied a series of Anchor and Trawl winch systems as well as the propeller and thrust shafts to each of the three vessels which are to be delivered in l2012. The vessels will host Fisheries and Oceans Canada fisheries researchers and scientists who conduct critical oceanographic and scientific research in Canada’s inshore waters. The supply of over 30 pieces of deck equipment on the three vessels continues the partnership Hawboldt Industries has with the Canadian Coast Guard of the past 30 years.
