Re-roping equipment & belt/cable winders

Large capacity hoists in any application require periodic rope changes. Manufacturers of wire rope recommend that hoist ropes be pre-tensioned onto hoist drums to avoid damage to wire rope by upper layers ‘cutting’ through loosely wound lower layers.
